The Choctaw -Chickasaw Freedmen Heritage and Reunion Conference  was by  most accounts, an inspirational event. Many who attended, and participated in the activities commented, when will the next one be given?

One of the most impressive and uplifting features of the conference, was the attendance of two elders, in their nineties!!! Both women had great stories to tell about their lives, people, places and events they witnessed. Their contributions to the history of the freedmen will forever be captured on video and audio  recordings.

The compilation video DVD sold at the conference is now being offered for sale to the public. It includes five video’s which includes the complete version of the Bynum COLBERT story which was debuted and exclusive to the Choctaw Chickasaw Freedmen Heritage Conference and Reunion. We are in the process of editing a video and over 500 photographs of the events during the conference. They include individual testimonials about their family history. There will also be a video of Angela Walton-Raji delivering her riveting and exclusive poem
